“Pathology is headed beyond the paraffin curtain and out of the laboratory!” says Jerad, Associate Professor of Pathology and Dermatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. “We will still work in the lab, of course, but our non-pathologist colleagues, our patients, and the public will get to know who we are and why we are important, thanks to the many pathologists who publicly represent our specialty so well on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media.”
