The Power List 2016

Juan Daniel Prieto Cuadra

Why did nominators want to see this young pathologist recognized? “His attitude toward improving his knowledge and the way he transmits it to the new generations of clinicians,” they say. “He’s focusing on the autopsy area, but nevertheless has time to study the difficult cases that other colleagues share with him to get a second opinion.

He loves the lymphoma section, too. And it’s an absolute pleasure to hear him explaining to students how to look at a biopsy under the microscope.”

He describes himself as having “a special passion for lymphocytes and uropathology, not forgetting post-mortem pathology.” With such a varied skillset, it’s little wonder he is well-received both in the clinic and on social media.
