The Power List 2016

Christina Arnold

After studying medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern and completing a fellowship in anatomic pathology at Johns Hopkins, Christina moved to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where she now works on gastrointestinal pathology and soft tissue cancers. A nominator referred to her as a “rising star in the GI pathology world,” citing her lectures for USCAP, her activity on Twitter, and her publication of a major – and best-selling – textbook, the Atlas of Gastrointestinal Pathology.

Christina can also be found online at the PathJC pathology journal club on Twitter (#pathJC), an initiative that allows users around the world to read recent papers together and then discuss them – a great way to promote pathology, encourage networking and share knowledge between specialties and across geographic divides.
