Giuseppe Banfi

Giuseppe Banfi is an associate professor of clinical biochemistry and clinical molecular biology at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy. He is also the scientific director of Milan’s IRCCS Galeazzi Orthopaedic Institute and San Donato Hospital Group Foundation. He is also the director general of the Fondazione Centro San Raffaele, a non-profit organization created to support the research of the IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital and to improve the integration of scientific research and clinical care activities. His main research interests include biochemistry and hematology in sports medicine, biochemistry of bone tissue, management of orthopedics and healthcare technology assessment.
