Decision support tools based on machine learning techniques show great promise to support pathologists, ease their ever-increasing workload and improve patient care. INIFY Prostate is an AI-based, CE-marked tool that identifies and outlines areas suspicious for carcinoma in digitized prostate needle biopsy slides. Dr Yildiz will present results from a clinical evaluation where the ability of INIFY Prostate to improve accuracy, concordance and diagnostic confidence among pathologists was studied. She will discuss what effects introducing tools like INIFY Prostate integrated into the routine clinical workflow could have on improving patient care.
