With targeted (COVID-19) and syndromic (RESP-4) tests, Mobidiag offers a complete solution for rapid and reliable diagnosis of the most prevalent respiratory viruses, for on-demand testing (Novodiag®) and high-volume screening (Amplidiag®).
SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, influenza B ad RSV viruses cause similar symptoms, making it difficult for physicians to determine accurately which virus is responsible for an infection. These molecular tests can then distinguish these 4 viruses from one single nasopharyngeal swab sample from patients with signs and symptoms of respiratory infection. Amplidiag® RESP-4 (CE-IVD) is now available and will shortly be followed by Novodiag® RESP-4 (CE-IVD ongoing).
