Schiff’s reagent is available from most vendors as a refrigerated reagent. One of the most time-consuming parts of the PAS protocol is the time spent allowing the Schiff’s reagent to come to room temperature prior to use. We conducted a study to analyze the staining results of Schiff’s reagent with varying storage conditions and our shelf-stable Schiff’s Reagent Intense.
The comparison study showed that Schiff’s Reagent Intense not only provided strong, consistent staining across multiple tissues and storage conditions, but it did so over the course of 36 months. Download our datasheet to learn more about the study.
