This device, based on Volumetric Absorptive Microsampling (VAMS™) technology, accurately and reliably collects 20 µL of blood in seconds and meets more stringent assay sensitivity requirements making it suitable for low concentrations and compatible with less sensitive mass spectrometers. The CE/IVD and FDA Class 1 listed microsampling device is available in four formats. The 96-racks are suited for method development and automated sample extraction. The clamshell is an economical option for direct patient sampling whereas the cartridge is a solution for direct-patient and/or at-home sampling as it includes barcodes for patient tracking and a re-sealable bag/desiccant for shipping samples.
