Grale HDS SureFrost™ microscope slides are manufactured from premium quality extra white glass which has superior thickness tolerances and wettability characteristics. The hydrophilic properties enable outstanding adherence of specimens to the glass without the need for additional adhesives or protein coatings. SureFrost coating is impervious to most common laboratory chemicals and reagents, and retains most laboratory marking methods better than plain and conventional frosted slides. This eliminates the need for paper labels and relabeling of slides. Choose from colored or double frosted options - with plain, 45 ° or 90 ° ground edges, and plain or clipped corners.
