Her podcast, “Your Path in Focus,” provides wellness and career development advice for pathologists and laboratory medicine professionals. With that in mind, her advice for those starting out in the field is to “remember that it’s not our job’s job to make us happy. That’s our job. When we place our value outside of ourselves, we set ourselves up for suffering. Instead, when we see our job’s job as paying a salary, and our job as making ourselves happy, then everyone wins!”
