About Aaron Odegard

Aaron is a medical technologist in the Infectious Diagnostics Laboratory, Baptist Health System, Jacksonville, FL. He is also Chair of the ASCP Council of Laboratory Professionals, a member of the ASCP Board of Directors, and a founding member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. As a mentor to many young professionals, Aaron provides educational content and case studies on his social media for pathologists, students, and fellow laboratorians. He believes that visibility is the biggest challenge the lab faces right now. Aaron says, “The problem is that we need to realize we are stronger together.”
