He is a pioneer of the algorithmic approach to organ systems, which highlights relevant diagnostic features. His most unexpected moment? “I wrote an article titled The Art of Algorithms last year in The Pathologist. I was surprised and honored that it made an international impact – one pathologist mentioned that it was discussed during a departmental meeting and others said how useful it is for medical students.”
