The Power List 2020 – Big Breakthroughs

Christina can be found at George Papanicolaou General Hospital in Thessaloniki, where she works as a Consultant Cytopathologist. Her big breakthrough was the invention of the ABCDE algorithm for medical image interpretation, which can be applied across pathology, radiology, and nuclear medicine. Her proudest achievement? “Being the first academic from Greece to receive a TEDMED scholarship and subsequently appearing among the top 10 influencers and most prolific tweeters at the event, with upward of 46,000 impressions.”
