About Nicole Riddle

Currently working at Tampa General Hospital for Ruffolo, Hooper, and Associates as a pathologist, nominators praise Nicole’s active and continued involvement in pathology advocacy. In her role as a member of the Young Physician Section Governing Council for the American Medical Association, she has given pathology a strong voice to ensure that the profession has a seat at the top table of medicine. Given the chance, the one thing that Nicole would change about her field is inter-specialty communication. “The lack of basic understanding of what we do in pathology often causes frustrations on both sides and, unfortunately, sometimes leads to patient care issues.”
