About Mario Plebani
Mario is Professor of Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology at the University of Padova and the Chief of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the University Hospital in Padova. Recognized as a pioneer and trailblazer in patient safety, he is committed to reducing and preventing laboratory errors through creating a system of quality indicators in the lab. Mario is a strong leader and has mentored a number of students throughout his career.
