A clinical biochemist by specialty, Ian has dedicated his career to the successful delivery and modernization of pathology in the UK’s National Health Service. Two decades ago, he began developing the network that is now Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services (BSPS), working to ensure its future sustainability. “He has pushed the boundaries when others wouldn’t or couldn’t,” says one nominator. “This has helped to pave the way for others to follow in his path.”
