About Stacy Melanson
Stacy, a clinical pathologist with interests in cardiac markers, toxicology, and laboratory utilization and operations, is currently a junior faculty member in the department of pathology at Harvard Medical School. She practices as Associate Medical Director of Clinical Chemistry and Medical Director of Phlebotomy at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. Despite the early stage of her career, Stacy has authored multiple important book chapters, is a member of the organizing hierarchy in the American Association for Clinical Chemistry as a young person, and was referred to as “an outstanding teacher” by her nominators. She has also been involved in assembling an electronic program – yet to be published – that covers topics over the entire field of laboratory medicine.
