About Anamarija Perry
Anamarija’s nominators emphasized her strong publication history and her participation in multiple efforts to elucidate the biology and therapy of lymphomas. An assistant professor in the University of Manitoba’s Max Rady College of Medicine, she is currently involved in two grant-funded projects focusing on diffuse large B cell lymphoma.
“Ever since my early days in medical school, pathology has always been my favorite subject,” says Anamarija. “The intellectual challenge of solving a mystery always appealed to me. I practice exclusively hematopathology, a complex and rapidly evolving area of pathology. It is that challenge that motivates me to come to work every day. Every case that I deal with is unique in some way, and poses a new mystery to be solved. I go home at the end of the day happy and fulfilled, knowing that I helped people.”
