About Ana-Maria Šimundic

Ana-Maria is head of the Department for Medical Laboratory Diagnostics at the Sveti Duh Clinical Hospital in Zagreb. She’s also president of the Croatian Society of Medical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine and chair of the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine preanalytical phase working group. Ana-Maria is motivated by her passion for her profession and the people that she has met along the way.“I believe that laboratory medicine is a very exciting field.
