The world is filled with invisible rules and speed bumps. The only way to efficiently navigate through them is to have a mentor to help forge the path – and to learn from one’s own mistakes. As important as it is to have a mentor, it is even more important to find ways to mentor others. Send the elevator back down, invite more to the table, and build roads where there was previously no path. The best feeling in the world is not to get one’s own paper or course accepted, it is to help someone else achieve their goals. Success is being a champion to as many people as possible, as often as possible, in as many ways as possible.
