Our image of the month comes from Shawn Alexa Rosario. She says, “This digital drawing is a playful reimagining of podocytes and their foot processes, as seen on electron microscopy of the kidney. As I learn more about pathology, I enjoy designing fun characters inspired by the morphology of various cells and microscopic structures.”
