The Pathologist Power List 2015 will survey the achievements of the outstanding men and women across laboratory medicine.

Help us to put the thought leaders, opinion shapers and unsung heroes of in the spotlight. Complete the online form here or email the Editor, Fedra Pavlou at fedra.pavlou@texerepublishing.com  (Subject line: Power List 2015).

To be considered, please include:

• Name and affiliation of the person you are nominating
• Why you are nominating them (50-150 words)
• Your name, affiliation and email address

• You can nominate yourself or someone else
• The deadline for nominations is Wednesday 30th September 2015.
• The full list of nominations will be put to an expert panel.
• Under the guidance of the Chair, the panel will decide on the final list of 100. The panel’s decision is final and no correspondence regarding their deliberations or the final list will be entered into.

Michael Schubert

While obtaining degrees in biology from the University of Alberta and biochemistry from Penn State College of Medicine, I worked as a freelance science and medical writer. I was able to hone my skills in research, presentation and scientific writing by assembling grants and journal articles, speaking at international conferences, and consulting on topics ranging from medical education to comic book science. As much as I’ve enjoyed designing new bacteria and plausible superheroes, though, I’m more pleased than ever to be at Texere, using my writing and editing skills to create great content for a professional audience.
