  2. 33 proteins were found to be differentially abundant in ALS.

  3. NEFL was the protein with the greatest difference.

  4. Machine learning achieved 98 percent accuracy distinguishing ALS from controls.

  5. Proteins associated with muscle development, neuronal processes, and metabolism were identified.

  6. The model showed reliability in presymptomatic patients.

  7. Changes in biomarkers were observed years before clinical diagnosis.
