Aisha Mohamed developed a passion for global health as a child in Nairobi, Kenya, where she recognized healthcare inequalities. Currently a third-year pathology resident at the University of Minnesota Medical School, she received the ASCP Trainee Global Health Fellowship, enabling her to spend a month in Moshi, Tanzania. During her fellowship, she worked with Alex Mremi at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre, focusing on prostate cancer screening research, contributing to clinical case reviews, and participating in telepathology educational initiatives.
