In this paper, 10x Genomics uses Visium Spatial Gene Expression – a next-generation molecular profiling solution – for FFPE tumor samples to demonstrate how spatial gene expression data complements pathological annotations, while providing additional insights on tumor heterogeneity, biomarker expression patterns, and spatial organization of cell types in the microenvironment.
