Biobank sample quality is critical for the research success of their users. This was recently demonstrated by the French Chronic Kidney Disease Renal Epidemiology and Information Network project. The Biobanque de Picardie carefully processed buffy coat samples and provided their research partners with high-quality genomic DNA (gDNA) for this study, which includes more than 50 network members across 13 regions in France, but the size and volume of the study posed a number of challenges.

Download the application note to see how the biobank was able to ensure consistent sample quality for this large-scale study.
