European Congress of Pathology (ECP 2026)

Innovation Driving Excellence in Pathology 

The 38th European Congress of Pathology (ECP 2026) is the premier biennial event for pathology professionals and researchers across Europe and beyond, organised by the European Society of Pathology (ESP). It will be held 12–16 September 2026 at Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm, Sweden. The congress is expected to attract over 5,000 participants, including pathologists, clinicians, molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, medical scientists, and industry partners, offering extensive opportunities for professional development and networking.

Under the theme “Innovation Driving Excellence in Pathology”, the scientific programme will feature keynote lectures, symposia, slide seminars, and interactive workshops, with special emphasis on digital pathology, AI integration, and emerging technologies that are transforming diagnostic practice and research. 

ECP 2026 aims to showcase cutting‑edge advancements in diagnostics, prognostic assessment, and therapy response prediction, while fostering collaboration and exchange of insights among global experts.
