ESCMID Global 2026: Leading Infection Science in Munich

Annual Congress of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases 

ESCMID Global 2026, the 36th congress of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), will take place 17–21 April 2026 at Messe München in Munich, Germany. This premier global event brings together leading experts in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology for five days of scientific exchange, cutting‑edge research, and professional networking. 

The programme features keynote lectures, oral sessions, workshops, symposia, meet‑the‑expert seminars and poster presentations, designed to highlight the latest innovations in diagnostics, treatment, prevention, and public health strategies. For the first time, an Education Friday is included to emphasize advanced learning opportunities for clinicians and researchers.
