Key Highlights from the 2026 Edition 

The 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting is scheduled May 29 – June 2, 2026 at McCormick Place in Chicago, with both in‑person and virtual attendance options available. This flagship oncology gathering brings together thousands of clinicians, researchers, and industry experts to share cutting‑edge scientific advances aimed at improving cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

The five‑day program features over 200 sessions, including plenary talks, oral abstracts, rapid presentations, poster discussions, and symposia covering the latest clinical trial data and translational research. Highlights also include interactive case‑based panels, joint sessions with other major cancer organizations, and the Presidential Address centered on “The Science and Practice of Translation: Improving Cancer Outcomes Worldwide.” 

In addition to the Annual Meeting, ASCO hosts regional and specialty events such as ASCO Breakthrough 2026 in Singapore (June 25–27), focused on global collaboration and innovation, and various GI Cancers symposia presenting notable clinical updates in pancreatic and gastroesophageal cancer research.
