Hello,

Our inaugural celebration of all things pathology and laboratory medicine invites finalists from our 2021 Power List to speak about their research and clinical work, their experiences in pathology and laboratory medicine, and the lessons they’d like to share with their colleagues.

Covering subjects from the lab’s role in the pandemic to preparing the future of pathology, join our expert speakers – Matthew Clarke, Lindsey B.C. Estetter, Sixto Leal, Jeffrey L. Myers, and Dana Powell Baker – to hear their views on key considerations affecting the laboratory now.

This half-day event takes place on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 10 am EST/3 pm GMT, but all talks will be available for on-demand viewing after the fact.

Register today!

In this session, we will:

  • Understand the state of pathology and laboratory medicine worldwide – and efforts currently underway to raise the discipline’s profile
  • Recognize the amazing work the medical laboratory has done to combat COVID-19 and maintain routine and emergency healthcare alongside it
  • Plan for the future of pathology and laboratory medicine, including bringing new trainees to the discipline and ensuring the best possible education

Each session will include a Q&A period in which viewers are invited to share their thoughts and ask their burning questions!

Please join us in celebrating pathology, laboratory medicine, and the increasingly bright spotlight that the world is shining on these disciplines. I hope to see you there!

Our virtual events are FREE, so please feel free to share this invitation with any colleagues who may also be interested!

Kind regards,

Michael Schubert
