About Philip Quirke

Philip is Yorkshire Cancer Research Centenary Professor of Pathology, and Head of Pathology and Tumor Biology, at University of Leeds School of Medicine. He is also Honorary Consultant and NHS National Institute for Health Research Senior Investigator in Histopathology and Molecular Pathology.

Philip’s nomination stems from setting up several schemes to support academic pathology in the UK and internationally.
