About Stefanie Klenner
Stefanie’s patients are a little out of the ordinary – they’re not human. That’s because she is a German veterinarian and a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology. Nominators praise her great leadership in the field of veterinary clinical pathology, which she demonstrates by educating veterinary surgeons and pathologists in laboratory medicine and result interpretation. That includes her online support of the Veterinary Information Network, where she teaches the popular Principles of Medicine and Laboratory Quality Management courses. She also works to advance laboratory quality assurance and quality control by chairing the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP) Laboratory Standards Committee and designing and presenting workshops on quality issues. According to one nominator, “Stefanie is an inspiration to all of us that work with her as a colleague and a friend.”
