“I’ve been inspired and mentored by several dedicated, passionate, and multitalented individuals, so I hope to offer the same to the next generation or two,” says Rose. “I’m particularly interested in developing educational resources that will effectively and efficiently teach pathology. My goal is to adapt to ongoing changes in our field while shaping what that might look like.”

Rose, an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, is active both in leadership (including membership of the CAP Residents Forum Executive Committee and the Archives of Pathology editorial board) and on Twitter (with a prominent account and a position on the 2015 USCAP In Situ Pathologists livetweet group). She says, “Working with colleagues on a variety of committees within national pathology organizations has been personally and professionally rewarding. Our collective efforts in education, advocacy, membership, and laboratory standards can positively impact our profession and the quality of health care.”
