About Min Yu

Min is “a rare individual who exhibits the clinical thinking of a trained physician and the scientific approach of an accomplished researcher – and, strikingly, combines those approaches with the ability to think quantitatively like a mathematician.” High praise, but well-deserved. In the year since completing her postdoctoral fellowship training and board certification in clinical chemistry, she has written computer code for multiple purposes – to solve problems within the clinical laboratory, to automate formerly time-consuming manual reviews of quality data, and to find new insights in clinical data. She's now an Instructor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville.
