Marcell Szász

About Marcell Szász

Marcell began his involvement with disease research during his doctoral studies on breast cancer, including work on claudin tight junction proteins, a simplified prognostic gene expression profile, and the study of paired primary tumors and metastases. After receiving both an MD and a PhD from Hungary’s Semmelweis University, he went on to become a pathologist. He currently conducts research on melanoma in the Division of Oncology and Pathology at Lund University in Sweden.
